Howard & Howard Names Class of 2022 Shareholders

Royal Oak, Mich., January 10,  2022  – Howard & Howard, a leading business law firm, has named six new shareholders: Michelle Champane, Noah Menold, Kirill Mikhaylov, Lindsey O’Malley, Christopher Schaeffer, and Christopher Warburton.

The new shareholders are as follows:

*Michelle Champane is part of the firm’s Litigation Practice and focuses on business, real estate, civil and commercial litigation. Practicing out of the firm’s Royal Oak office, she also represents clients in federal and state tax litigation, including tax appeals, property tax valuation matters, and defense of claimed federal and state tax credits.

*Noah Menold practices out of the firm’s Peoria, Illinois office where he handles all aspects of the litigation process, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trials and appeals. In addition, Menold represents hospitals, clinics, physicians, nurses, and other health care providers in complex litigations, as well as compliance and corporate governance matters.

*Kirill Mikhaylov is part of the Litigation Practice at the Howard & Howard offices in Las Vegas, Nevada. He concentrates his practice in commercial and business litigation, representing individuals and local, national, and international businesses from pretrial through the appellate stage of disputes. Mikhaylov represents clients in a range of matters in state and federal courts, including contract disputes, business torts, shareholder and partner disputes, intellectual property, and general liability.

*Lindsey O’Malley is part of the Business and Corporate Practice Group at the firm’s Chicago office, where she focuses on corporate tax incentive projects throughout the country representing public and private companies. O’Malley, who is also a certified public accountant, is involved with all aspects of tax credits and incentives, including Research and Development Tax Credits, Work Opportunity Tax Credits and other federal and state programs crafted to attract economic developments and create jobs.

Christopher Schaeffer, who practices out of the firm’s Chicago office, is part of the Litigation Practice and focuses on shareholder disputes, derivative lawsuits, mergers and acquisitions, labor and employment, intellectual property, trade secrets and non-compete agreements. He also has experience advising educational institutions on a range of legal matters, including labor and employment, students and special education and board governance.

Christopher Warburton practices as part of the Business and Corporate Practice at the firm’s Las Vegas office. He focuses on corporate, securities real estate, financing, intellectual property, licensing, and regulatory matters. In addition, Warburton advises businesses of all sizes across a range of industries on corporate transactional matters through all stages of growth, including entity formation, early-stage business development, stock and asset transactions, mergers, and other exit events.
