icon on Las Vegas, NV – April 11, 2023 – Howard & Howard Attorneys is pleased to announce the addition of David Edelblute to its growing Litigation practice group. Edelblute joins the firm as a partner in the Las Vegas office.
Edelblute is a well-rounded, highly experienced attorney, focusing his practice on commercial litigation, commercial real estate, and government affairs. He has represented a range of corporate clients, from Fortune 500 companies to local small businesses, primarily in highly regulated or privileged licensed industries including banking, construction, cannabis, development, gaming, liquor, and healthcare. Edelblute advises his clients through all stages of the business cycle: formation; licensure; strategic planning; compliance; litigation; mergers and acquisitions; and dissolution. Edelblute also serves his client as a lobbyist where he represents businesses and advocates for their interests in all levels of government. His background in government work transitions over seamlessly to his work as an attorney, as he provides a unique and strategic approach to all client matters.
Outside of his role as an attorney, Edelblute is passionate about giving back to his community. He is a federal appointee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights Nevada Advisory Committee, a trustee to the Henderson Chamber of Commerce Foundation, a member of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce’s IMPAC board, a committee member for the Henderson Chamber of Commerce's state legislative committee, and the Secretary to the Las Vegas Chapter of The Federalist Society. Edelblute also served his hometown on the City of Henderson’s City Charter Committee, a special ballot initiative committee, and is coming up for an appointment with the City’s Redevelopment Agency Commission.
Edelblute received his bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and J.D. from University of Wisconsin Law School.
