icon on Peoria, Ill., January 13, 2022 – Howard & Howard is pleased to welcome Dennis E. Merkley to the firm. Merkley joins the firm’s Business and Corporate Law Group and will continue his practice at Howard & Howard’s Peoria office.
Merkley provides outside general counsel services to businesses in a wide range of industries and fields. He regularly represents buyers and sellers in asset, stock and real estate transactions. In addition, Merkley represents commercial developers from the acquisition of land through the development process. He also works with construction companies in contract drafting and review, liens and litigation.
“Dennis brings to Howard & Howard an extensive background and strong expertise in representing buyers and sellers in a wide range of transactions involving companies, mixed use developments, large shopping centers and apartment complexes. Merkley also serves the Peoria County Bar Association as a member of its board of directors for the 2021-22 term.
