icon on Las Vegas, October 18, 2017 – Robert Hernquist, an attorney with Howard & Howard, will be part of a panel presenting a mock civil trial set for November 15 at the 2017 Forensic Valuation and Services Conference at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
Sponsored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the conference runs from November 13 to 15 and will feature over 90 presentations and workshops focused on accounting forensics and business valuation.
Hernquist will participate in a mock civil trial sequence involving the departure of a key executive. Two experts, two attorneys and a judge will simulate opposing financial expert’s testimony in a damages case where the audience will participate as jury. Hernquist will represent the hypothetical defendant in the case.
The mock trial will be conducted from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on November 15, the final day of the conference.
