Inc., and its shareholders, in a major transaction. Healthmark’s shareholders sold 100 percent of its U.S. shares to an affiliate of Getinge AB for approximately $320 million. The transaction officially closed October 11, 2023.
Healthmark has been a longstanding leader in the development and marketing of innovative healthcare solutions since 1969. Its products aid healthcare facilities in delivering surgical instruments and other lifesaving medical devices to patients, focusing on the validation and clarification of sanitizing medical products.
Richard Miettinen and Nolan Yaldo led the team of Howard & Howard attorneys throughout the deal, supported by Mark Peyser, Bradley Knickerbocker, Brett Garwood, Kaila Patrick, John Pollock, Bob Johnston, Steve Hays, Joanna Myers, Aaron Beresh, Gary Peters, Rui Lu, Trevor Lloyd, and Simon Alnajjar. The transaction officially closed October 11, 2023.
