icon on On September 30, 2025, Indiana University Maurer School of Law’s Class Notes announced that Gregory Braun and Matt Rich have joined the Chicago office of Howard & Howard. Braun and Rich are the co-founders of Braun & Rich, PC, a boutique real estate law firm they established in 2013. For more than a decade, they have advised a diverse clientele - including home buyers and sellers, developers, brokers, investors, lenders, and condominium associations - on a wide range of real estate transactions. Gregory Braun brings over 30 years of experience in residential, commercial, and investment property closings, as well as short sales, REOs, and new developments. His practice also includes lease negotiations, acquisitions, 1031 exchanges, property development, and financing. Matt Rich focuses on transactional real estate matters and previously served as Director of Zoning and Urban Development for the 43rd Ward Alderman in Chicago, where he played a key role in major redevelopment projects, including the transformation of the former Children’s Memorial Hospital site. Howard & Howard President and CEO Jon Kreucher expressed enthusiasm about their arrival, noting that their deep expertise in real estate law will significantly strengthen the firm’s capabilities in the Chicago market.
