As the use of artifical intellgience-based platforms, such as GPT, continues to grow, so does concern around the legality of the work produced by the tools - specfically in regard to patent infringement.

The animation industry is experiencing a round of AI-based turmoil as different platforms arise in which users can easily create their own animation shorts using AI technology - while pulling other art work from the interent.

Jake Grove, an intellectual property litigation attorney at Howard & Howard, sat down with IGN to discuss copyright issues when using such platforms, and if the law can keep up with the ever-changing technology.
