Donald Trump Could Spark a Housing Revolution in Nevada

David Edelblute spoke to Newsweek about the ongoing affordable housing crisis in southern Nevada as the region's population continues to grow.

Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo is currently working with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Developing (HUD) and the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI) to identify federal land eligible for development projects, with the support of President Donald Trump.

Without the release of federally owned land, Las Vegas could be out of developable land by 2032.

“Nevadans need housing for themselves, their children, and their future. Of course, the process requires local government expertise with issues like infrastructure, sustainability, and smart growth. We're fully capable of navigating those issues.”
