Las Vegas is still navigating its affordable-housing crisis, largely due in part to 88% of the land in Clark County alone in control by the federal government. In an attempt to work toward resolve, Gov. Joe Lombardo is pushing for resolutions to release some of this land for housing developments.
David Edelblute spoke with the Las Vegas Review-Journal about Lombardo's push to free up federal land, and how the release of land is a critical first step in resolving the housing issues.
