The federal Patent and Trademark Office recently gave Dan Gilbert's real estate firm preliminary approvals to Bedrock for the proposed names and logos for the two-building development in downtown Detroit after initial pushback earlier this year. Once published on August 13, any opposing parties having 30 days to make objections on the proposed trademarks.
