Miles is a business attorney that focuses his practice on a wide range of commercial litigation matters and litigation management. He has represented businesses and business owners in lawsuits and arbitrations in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Oklahoma, California, Maryland, Florida, Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, Arizona, Minnesota, and Hawaii. His trial experience includes business litigation and commercial class action defense for clients in the automotive, manufacturing, insurance, aviation, cargo handling, supply chain management, and financial service industries. A significant portion of his practice involves providing "virtual in-house counsel" and litigation management services to private equity clients. Miles also has extensive experience negotiating automotive and manufacturer supply agreements, service agreements, sales representative agreements, and severance and non-competition agreements.
Miles is a former professional football player with the Detroit Lions, and also has experience as a small business/franchise owner.
