I help attorneys and their clients resolve disputes through mediation and arbitration.

Jay is a complex commercial litigation attorney and retired jurist working as a full-time neutral.  He provides services as a mediator, arbitrator, neutral evaluator, private judge, and special master.  He has resolved thousands of cases as a judge, mediator, arbitrator, and special master in a wide variety of matters ranging from business and partnership disputes to wrongful death cases.

After working as an attorney for nearly thirty years, Jay shifted his focus to serving in the judiciary.  He has served as a Hearing Master for the Eighth Judicial Court in Clark County, the Discovery Commissioner for the civil and family divisions, the ADR Commissioner, Short Trial Commissioner, Special Master, and Settlement Judge.

Additionally, Jay is currently an adjunct professor at the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV and an accomplished author of several books that serve as a guideline for various litigation topics in the state of Nevada.
