Representative Matters

  • Successfully defended the CEO of a large energy company in a shareholder lawsuit claiming $2.6 million in damages for alleged claims of breach of fiduciary duty, alter ego, and unjust enrichment.  Dismissal was obtained after successfully arguing that the lawsuit must have been brought as a shareholder derivative claim, and that the shareholder plaintiffs did not have standing to sue.
