Sydney attended Michigan State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. After graduating, she worked as a validation engineer in the pharmaceutical industry. As an engineer, Sydney developed verification and qualification deliverables, including risk management, functional design specifications, test protocols, and summary reports. She executed test protocols, tracked, and managed change control activities for multiple projects, and more.

Sydney is a current Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law with an anticipated graduate date of May 2026.
