Ms. Perez focuses her practice on labor, employment and general commercial litigation matters.
counsels clients on a wide range of legal issues relating to business practice
and personnel management. Ms. Perez has extensive experience representing securities broker-dealers in connection with
litigation matters, including handling disputes involving contract claims,
unfair trade practices and unfair competition claims, raiding claims, breach of
fiduciary duty and duty of loyalty claims, and enforcement of restrictive
covenants. She has successfully litigated cases, both individually and
on trial teams, involving ERISA claims,
employment-related issues, and contract disputes in state and federal
courts and in arbitration forums around the country.
Ms. Perez received her J.D. from Northwestern
University Pritzker School of Law in 2008 and her B.A., magna cum laude, in Political Science and Psychology from the
University of Notre Dame in 2004. She is a member of the American Bar
Association and Illinois State Bar Association. Ms. Perez is admitted to
practice in the State of Illinois and before the U.S. District Court for the
Northern District of Illinois.
