Ms. Devol focuses her practice on federal Indian law, taxation, economic development, business transactions, and estate planning. With more than 25 years of experience, she advises tribal governments, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and entrepreneurs on complex transactional, governance, and regulatory matters.
Ms. Devol has extensive experience supporting tribal economic development initiatives, negotiating tribal-state compacts, structuring business transactions, and resolving federal and state tax controversies. She regularly counsels clients on issues involving tribal sovereignty, taxation, and business growth.
Ms. Devol earned her LL.M. in Taxation, J.D., and MBA from the University of Missouri and her B.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma. She serves as Treasurer of the International Inter-Tribal Trade and Investment Organization (IITIO).
