Goetz

Carter concentrates his practice in corporate and business law, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions; divestitures; the formation, organization, and funding of startup businesses; corporate governance; securities; and other general business matters. Through his work with both public and private entities, he has experience drafting and reviewing transaction agreements, organizational and governance documents, and various loan and credit facility documents. In addition to his work in the area of corporate and business law, he also works with individuals and families on estate planning strategies designed to help achieve their personal, financial, and legacy-planning objectives.

Carter began his legal career with Howard & Howard in 2018 before transitioning to an in-house counsel role with Del Mar Seafoods. He has since returned to Howard & Howard, bringing with him valuable in-house perspective and experience.
