Chicago, Ill., September 21, 2022 – Leading business law firm Howard & Howard recently welcomed attorney Jessica E. Chang to its growing Litigation Practice Group in the Chicago office.
Chang focuses her practice on various labor and employment issues that arise in the workplace, specifically in the healthcare and financial industries. She regularly counsels human resources personnel and company representatives on hiring, termination, discipline, reasonable accommodation, restrictive covenants, leave, discrimination, and wage and hour compliance matters. Additionally, she also advises clients on the development and implementation of employment-related policies and programs in compliance with new laws and regulations.
Prior to joining Howard & Howard, Chang gained extensive experience in counseling clients on employment claim matters through both state and federal courts nationwide. Such claims included: hour collective and class action, discrimination, wrongful termination, employee leave, and more. Chang also worked closely with all Covid-19 employment regulations, as she served on the Covid-19 task force and advised the firm on all matters related to changing pandemic issues.
Chang received her bachelor’s degree from Kyunghee University in Seoul, Korea. She then went onto graduate from Chicago-Kent College of Law with her J.D.
