Billy joined Howard & Howard in 2015 as a full-time intellectual property intern while attending evening law school classes. He will remain in the firm’s Royal Oak office.

Billy’s practice focuses on the development of clients’ intellectual property portfolios, encompassing a range of technologies. In addition, he advises clients regarding validity, infringement, and enforceability of patents including freedom to operate and patentability opinions.
Billy has worked with clients with significant market presence in the medical, automotive, and manufacturing industries. His technical experience spans the mechanical and electromechanical fields, with a special emphasis on electric vehicle technology.
