Royal Oak, Michigan, July 23, 2015: Howard & Howard Attorneys PLLC is pleased to announce that Brian J. Pezzillo, Jennifer R. Lloyd and Marisa L. Maskas have joined the firm. All three will practice out of the firm’s Las Vegas Office.
Brian J. Pezzillo concentrates his practice on litigating, arbitrating and resolving claims arising from a variety of business, commercial and construction disputes. He counsels clients on the drafting and negotiation of various commercial and construction contracts. Mr. Pezzillo has represented clients before various administrative agencies as well as before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New Mexico Oil Conservation Commission, the Las Vegas Air Quality Commission, the Nevada State Contractor’s Board and the Nevada Commission on Ethics.
Mr. Pezzillo received his J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1996 and his B.B.A. from the University of New Mexico in 1992. He has been named to Mountain States Super Lawyers and holds the AV® Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Pezzillo is admitted practice in the States of Nevada, North Dakota and New Mexico and before the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th and 11th Districts. He is also licensed to practice before the United States District Courts of Nevada and New Mexico.
Jennifer R. Lloyd
concentrates her practice in the areas of construction law, business law, contracts, real estate, mergers and acquisitions and commercial litigation. She has comprehensive experience in all facets of commercial litigation, from inception through trial and appeal, when necessary. She has represented clients in many different areas of the law, but has had a particular focus on claims involving the construction industry. Ms. Lloyd is regularly involved in the preparation and negotiation of contracts for clients arising out of various transactions, including: construction agreements, asset purchases, stock sales, employer/employee contracts and partner buyouts.
Ms. Lloyd received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law in 2005 and her B.A., cum laude, from Sonoma State University in 2002. She is licensed to practice in the State of Nevada and before the United States District Court for Nevada. Ms. Lloyd has an AV® Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is a member of the Clark County Bar Association.
Marisa L. Maskas concentrates her practice in civil litigation, including general commercial and business litigation and matters involving contract disputes and mechanic’s lien issues.
She received her B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002, and her J. D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2006. While in law school, Ms. Maskas was a judicial intern for the Hon. Samuel A. Joyner, U.S. District Court, N. District of Oklahoma. She served as Articles Editor for the Tulsa Journal of Comparative & International Law. Ms. Maskas also received a Certificate in Public Policy and Regulation. She is licensed to practice in the State of Nevada as well as before the United States District Court, Nevada.
