Mr. O’Malley concentrates his practice in commercial litigation and appellate law.
He is driven to
conduct exhaustive research that informs his thinking and legal writing. Armed
with that knowledge, he is prepared to break down complex and novel legal
issues in order to develop creative solutions on behalf of his clients. Mr.
O’Malley has briefed issues for the Nevada Supreme Court in high-profile
matters including class certification, federal preemption, arbitrability, and
First Amendment law. He has also
litigated state and federal cases at the district court level ranging from
medical malpractice, banking, breach of contract, collections, class action
suits, fraud, fraudulent transfers, injunctive relief, leases, commercial real
estate, unlawful detainer, and writs of mandamus/prohibition.
Mr. O’Malley is
a Las Vegas native, and received his B.S.B.A. in Finance from UNLV in
2007. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Washington
University School of Law in 2011, graduating in the top 3% of his class. During
law school, he served as a senior editor of the Washington University Law Review, and as a judicial extern to the
Honorable Robert C. Jones at the U.S. District Court for the District of
Nevada. Mr. O’Malley is licensed to practice in the State of Nevada.
