Ms. Carteen is a pragmatic problem solver who litigates a wide range of complex business and intellectual property disputes, including copyright, trademark and patent matters.
Through combining her extensive experience
with all phases of litigation and knowledge of the issues particular to her
clients’ businesses, she tackles each case with an appreciation of the inherent
short and long-term business implications.
Ms. Carteen collaborates with clients from the inception of a dispute to
ensure that she is providing the requisite combination of aggressive and cost-efficient
representation to meet her clients’ objectives.
Ms. Carteen received her J.D. from Campbell University
School of Law and her B.A., cum
laude, from the University of Southern California. She is licensed
to practice in the States of California and North Carolina. Ms. Carteen is also
admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit; all U.S. District Courts
in California; and the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts
of North Carolina.
