Mr. Pollock practices in the areas of estate planning and estate administration and business and corporate law.
received a B.A., with high honors, from Michigan State University in 1975 and
was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society. Mr. Pollock earned a J.D., magna
cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School in 1979 where he was a
member of the Wayne Law Review (1978-1979) and a recipient of the Wayne Gold
Key Scholarship Award. Mr. Pollock was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in
Pollock has over thirty-five years of estate planning experience and works with
high net worth clients as well as clients with basic estate planning
needs. In addition, he handles probate
matters, including decedent’s estates, guardianships and conservatorships, as
well as the lifetime and post-death administration of trusts.
Pollock has served as general legal counsel for many small and middle market
manufacturing and service businesses, including start-ups and guided these businesses
through the myriad legal issues they encounter. Mr. Pollock has handled many
large lending transactions on behalf of commercial borrowers as well as banks
and other institutional lenders. He also has many years of experience
reviewing, preparing and negotiating sophisticated commercial contracts.
Pollock frequently speaks to both professional and lay audiences regarding estate planning and estate administration matters. He has
been a presenter at many continuing professional education seminars for the
Institute for Continuing Legal Education and the Michigan Association of
Certified Public Accountants. He is a member of State Bar of Michigan and its
Real Property Law and Probate and Estate Planning Sections.
