“I am a litigator who draws on my experiences clerking for a federal judge to effectively resolve business disputes.”
Before pursuing a legal career, Kory worked in the hospitality industry. Through managing staff on a Japanese cruise line and opening a restaurant in Caesar's Windsor Hotel & Casino, Kory developed a keen understanding of effective business practices.
While in law school, Kory worked as a judicial intern to the Honorable Marianne O. Battani (2016). He also worked as an intern for Michigan's Attorney Grievance Commission (2017). After law school, Kory worked as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Avern Cohn (2018-2019). While working for Judge Cohn, he worked part-time as an adjunct professor for the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law's Moot Court program. Kory draws on his business and courtroom experiences to keep his clients well-informed and zealously represented.
