Kathryn L.
James

Kathryn has a diverse background in legal practice, having worked as a legal extern and student attorney at the City of Henderson Attorney’s Office, where she assisted with legal research, motion preparation, and the revision of city regulations. She also has experience in document drafting and advising in entity formation.

In addition to her legal externships, Kathryn served as research assistant for Professor Benjamin Edwards, focusing on securities regulation. Her role as a public policy clinic student attorney involved drafting federal court briefs and advocating for consumer protection.

Kathryn earned her Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law, where she was an active member of the Nevada Law Journal and recipient of the graduate Dean’s Award. She also holds a Master of Arts in Global History specializing in the Middle East from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Bachelor of Science in History and Secondary Education from Missouri State University.
