Mr. Wilson is a litigator with broad commercial experience.
He litigates cases
and advises clients in matters involving trade secret misappropriation,
non-competition covenants, shareholder disputes, real estate, construction,
automotive supply-chain, sales representative and general contract matters. Mr. Wilson has successfully handled appeals
in both state and federal appeals courts.
Mr. Wilson also
represents banks, financial institutions and creditors in workouts and
litigation involving bankruptcy, foreclosure and receivership. He has
considerable experience in representing court appointed receivers in the
recovery of fraudulent transfers, operation of going business concerns, and
liquidation and administration of real and personal property.
In addition, Mr.
Wilson represents marine lenders, salvors and other providers in maritime
litigation throughout the United States and co-authored an Amicus Curiae
brief on behalf of the National Marine Bankers Association in a case before the
United States Supreme Court, Lozman v. City of Riviera Beach.
Mr. Wilson received
his B.A., with honors, from Michigan State University and his J.D. from the
University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. He is admitted to the State Bar of
Michigan and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western
Districts of Michigan, the Northern District of Indiana, the United States
Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, the Sixth
Circuit Court of Appeals and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
